Immediate response fire-fighting vehicle „Defender 110“

Fire-fighting vehicle is applied to extinguish fire in town or in country districts. The main advantage of this vehicle is speed and expedition.

Bodywork is mounted on chassis Land Rover Defender 110 (4x4) suitable to use in „of road“ conditions. Framework is made of stainless steel, walls are coated with aluminium plates, roof - with wavy aliuminium. Side lockers and locker in the end are closed with aliuminium roller shutters. Autonomous high pressure motorpump Kappa 53 is mounted in the end of vehicle together with reel and high pressure hose terminating in a trigger operated fog/spray/jet branch pipe. Water tank is made of polypropylene, capacity 1500 l. water can be taken from outlet water sources or tank.

Tanks made of polypropylene

Company “Iskada” offer to obtain tanks made of polypropylene. These tanks are used in fire fighting vehicles, also it can be applied in fishery for transportation of fishes, in plants or buildings for storing water and foam used to extinguish fire.

Separate plates of polypropylene are welded with special welding extruder. Regarding the size of tank you need, we choose thickness of plate: 5 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm or 15 mm. Standard dimensions of plates: 1500 x 3000 mm. For the purpose to make huge reservoirs plates are welded and fastened with crosspieces. Material we use to produce tanks – polypropylene is in compliance with health norms and certified to transport drinking water. Furthermore plates have protection from ultraviolet rays.

We mount tanks of polypropylene in fire fighting vehicles for conveying water and foam.

There are fitted baffle plates in these tanks to reduce effect of inertia of water when vehicle is moving.

When ambient temperature is rather low tanks can be coated with heat insulation.
